Saturday June 20th

Here we are just before taking off. We weren't able to ge the Rav4 that we really wanted but got a Pontiac Torrent instead. It doesn't get quite the gas mileage as the Rav4 but its within 2 MPG, so we took it.

It was a busy morning as we got all of our things together for a 11:00am take off time. It turns out that we closed up all of the bags and got them in the car at about 10:30 and headed over to Luck's to pick up some last minute grocery's and ended up on the road at about 11:05.

The trip to Torrance was largely uneventful, we made one gas stop and one other break but kept on driving. We thought that we'd arrive ad Ginger's house about 5:00pm but it turned out that the LA traffice was more than we expected and it added a extra 45 minutes to the trip.

After arrive the night was filled with meeting Sarah's extended family of uncles and aunts, we went out to dinner to Carl's Jr.and split a mushroom burger adn then back to the house to reminice some more before heading off to bed.
