Nashville

Saturday June 27th

Last night we made some quick arrangements with one of the travel tours and booked a tour that would give us a tour of the Nashville area and all the sights. The places the we went to are too numerous to mention but needless to say we went to the Grand Ol' Opry the Ryman and other famous Country Music locations.

After the first part of the tour the guide dropped us off at a "Shoney's" restaurant which turned out to be terrible. The place was greasy and the portions of fries that they served was incredibly small. Not that we wanted too much but, you know it's the principle...and fries are cheap.

Later in the tour we transferred to another bus with a gruff older man as our driver and tour guide. He wasn't very talkative...for a tour guide.

Tomorrow we're off to someplace in between Richmond and Nashville so that we don't have to drive to far on the day we arrive at the Howard's (my aunt and uncle).
